The Internet is expanding our horizons in ways we could never have imagined. Today, students can take field trips without leaving the classroom and teachers can gather a vast amount of background information with the click of a mouse.
While a plethora of information is readily available, it isn't always easy to sort the truly useful from the eye-candy. The links included in this area are those that we find to be tested and true.
P.O.W.E.R. Plan
The P.O.W.E.R .Plan is a planning format that increases the chance of meeting the needs of all students. By including each P.O.W.E.R. component, you are more likely to reach each of your students ... the active learners (those who need action), personal learners (those who need a social or personal connection to gain understanding), analytic learners (those who need to dig for the WHYS?), and the traditional learners (those who need stability and consistency).
All of the materials produced by The Curriculum Store, Inc. fit into one or more parts of the plan. Minds ON!™ teacher materials are built with P.O.W.E.R. as their guide.
